Friday night we drove to CT and stayed with Uncle Charlie and then Saturday we drove to Maine. Woo! We arrived, set up camp, and made food. We were exhausted.

On Monday we went rock climbing by the ocean. Yes that's me, I'm rock climbing. And no my head is not stuck, it just looks that way as I look to place my feet.

On Tuesday we went across the sandbar to a small island by Bar Harbor. I have more pictures to come on facebook, but check this guy out! The plants give him a tuft of hair.

We spent our last day in Portland. We rode the Mailboat to a few different islands. We stopped at Great Chebeague island for the afternoon. We hiked across to this sandbar and walked to Little Chebeague island at low tide. We explored walking the entire way around the smaller island and almost missed our Mailboat ride back to Portland. We practically ran 3 miles to make it back in time. The best part was an island woman drove past us about a 1/4 mile out from our landing and gave us a ride the rest of the way.
Absolutely beautiful!
